ABOUT THE SONG

Your Idol is performed by the fictional Saja Boys in the 2025 Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters. It was written by EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick, Vince, KUSH, 24 and IDO, and produced by 24, IDO and Ian Eisendrath. Netflix describes the track as deliberately dark, heavy and otherworldly, marking the moment when the Saja Boys fully reveal their sinister side. The soundtrack version was released in June 2025, and published sheet music places the song in E minor, in 4/4 time, at around 90 BPM. On ukulele, it is a great piece for practising minor-key chord changes, dramatic rhythm, dynamics and confident riff playing.
