ABOUT THE SONG

Hotel California by the Eagles was released on the album Hotel California in 1976, with the single following in 1977. The original recording is in B minor and was written by Don Felder, Don Henley and Glenn Frey. The song became a No. 1 hit and won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year. It is especially famous for its unusual repeating chord progression and the extended twin-guitar ending played by Don Felder and Joe Walsh. On ukulele, it is a great piece for practising longer chord sequences, steady timing and expressive playing.
